Our house let

November 5, 2009 – Today we received final confirmation that our own house is let. A milestone, because this means our financial base is more stable. I didn´t want to communicate about it any sooner, since a lot of things could still go wrong. But now the contract has been approved, that weight can be taken from our shoulders. We would´ve rather sold it, but we don´t complain, this is a fine solution.

Meanwhile, the living room is stacked with carton moving boxes, every now and then the boys ask where there toys have gone (sorry, it´s packed already) and some furniture has already been sold and picked up. Furthermore we finally found the cheapest solution for shipping our stuff (thank you neighbour) and we´re busy arranging some administrative tasks.

To be on the safe side we called the travel agency: luckily we can check-in two suitcases a person. So I´ll be collecting baggage carts at Schiphol on my way to the check-in counter.
