Buck to the eyedoctor

February 6, 2010 - A few weeks before we moved, Buck was diagnosed to wear glasses and we had to patch his left eye to improve his vision. To continue his checkups, we had made an appointment on January 26 with an eyedoctor (optometrist). His office is in Minnedosa, about half an hour northeast of Rivers.

The trip was nice, the checkup went smooth and Buck's eyes are improving. We do have to keep patching his eye, but further than that everything was fine. It was funny to experience how we needed to function as translator, in order to enable communication between Buck and the doctor. The doctor was very skilled, especially working with kids and from experience we know that definitely not all doctors are gifted in that area.
