The nice part about snow

December 20, 2009 - We had a lot of snow this weekend. And in all honesty, snow can be a nuisance, cold and wet, but it also has a fun side: you can play in it!

We visited some Dutch friends of ours, to exchange some information on cars and to be able to check our email. They live at the nearby lake and you can take your toboggan and sled right of the hill onto the ice. While we started up the computer, Cisco and Buck were already outside with their youngest daughter having fun with the toboggan. It was great to look at them having fun.

A little later the owner even started his snowmobile and then we had a blast. The boys and I all took turns to race the two snowmobiles over the ice and despite the fact that it was pretty cold at approximately 70 km/hour, we all had a big, big smile on our face. Totally awesome!
