November 13, 2009 - We´re done with packing. We have numbered the moving boxes, registered everything on an inventory list and then handed it in for shipping. It will be shipped today (I´m not kidding) and in about 4 to 6 weeks, it will be delivered in Winnipeg.
It´s a strange and confronting feeling to see your belongings taken away and then hoping that everything is going to work out fine. Especially when it is shipped on Friday the 13th......
We´ve taken some pictures while packing, you can find them in the picture book.
At home it´s quite empty now. There is some furniture left, but everything that turns a house into a home, is packed and on its way. Nothing by the windows, nothing on the wall, it just sounds hollow at home! Luckily we were able to borrow some things here and there to get through the last 3 weeks. Else we would be eating off of plastic picknick plates, ha, ha!
Well, we´re already crossing our fingers for a safe transport. Will you join us?
